The MSUFCU Desk Drawer Foundation Third Annual Donor Event
Thank you to our donors who joined the Third Annual Donor Event! This year’s celebration was the largest and most impactful to date—featuring powerful stories, meaningful community connections, and memorable moments.
The program included remarks from Cameo King, Founder and Executive Director of Grit, Glam, & Guts, who delivered an inspiring message. Two teen leaders, Alyse and Naomi, also spoke on behalf of Grit, Glam, & Guts, sharing their personal experiences and perspectives. They described how their involvement has helped them grow as confident, resilient, and empowered young women—encouraging others to find their voices and embrace challenges.
A special thanks to TruStage and Experian for their generous support in making this event possible.
In October 2025, the Desk Drawer Foundation announced a $5,000 Community Challenge from TruStage, MSUFCU’s insurance and financial services partner, to encourage year-end giving. MSUFCU members helped exceed that initial goal, prompting an increase to $10,000. By the end of December, final contributions totaled more than $10,500. This additional support will inform the 2026 grant review process, providing additional funds for initiatives that create meaningful impact in local communities. Thank you to our members for contributing to this effort!
