Join Us in Making a Difference in Our Communities

The MSUFCU Desk Drawer Foundation provides trustworthy, ethical, and community-oriented grants to nonprofits in the communities where MSUFCU members live and work. The Foundation Leadership Team and Board carefully vet every nonprofit and provide grants that reflect the Foundation’s mission, vision, philanthropic pillars, and core values. For those looking to make a meaningful impact, contributing to the Foundation is a powerful way to transform lives in local communities.


Know that 100% of contributions go directly to nonprofits that build stronger communities. 

In October 2025, the Desk Drawer Foundation announced a $5,000 Community Challenge from TruStage, MSUFCU’s insurance and financial services partner, to encourage year-end giving. MSUFCU members helped exceed that initial goal, prompting an increase to $10,000. Final contributions totaled nearly $11,000. This additional support will inform the 2026 grant review process, providing additional funds for initiatives that create meaningful impact in local communities. Thank you to our members for contributing to this effort!

The Desk Drawer Foundation has received IRS recognition of its exemption from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Desk Drawer Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
