The Desk Drawer Foundation (DDF) was established in 2019 to further MSU Federal Credit Union's commitment to serving the Credit Union's core value of Giving Back to the Community. Since its inception, the Foundation has granted over $3 million to nonprofit organizations in the regions where our members live and work. With MSUFCU's expansion to Illinois, the Foundation's support will follow!
Foundation Grants
The MSUFCU Desk Drawer Foundation provides grants to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations whose impact benefits communities where our members live and work. Regional focus includes mid-Michigan, southeast Michigan, northern Michigan, west Michigan, Chicago, and northern Illinois in proximity to MSUFCU branches. Additionally, requests should align with one or more of the Foundation's five philanthropic pillars, listed below.
Nonprofits interested in exploring grant opportunities are welcome to complete a Letter of Inquiry (LOI); see below.
LOIs will be reviewed by Foundation Management within four weeks of submission, and selected nonprofits will be invited to submit a complete grant application for further consideration. Grant requests will be reviewed by the Desk Drawer Foundation Board of Directors with decisions made on a quarterly basis. Additional details:
